This year, that spirit of starting again with a renewed sense of purpose resonated deeper for us here at Luxe Digital as we unfold our growing vision for the magazine. On a more personal note, our re-design also symbolises a new beginning as I personally relocate to Europe where I will continue to re-invent the definition of luxury together with you, our esteemed readers.
It’s been a journey as we paused for a moment this summer to reflect on the past 1.5 years since we launched Luxe Digital in January 2018. What started as a modest side project to share our knowledge with the larger luxury community has grown bigger and quicker than anyone anticipated to become a global digital destination of choice for a new generation of business leaders and the modern luxury consumers — in other words: you. Thank you for making this happen.
We initially imagined a new kind of business publication, one devoted to the changing definition of luxury. A jargon-free, insightful reference that would help today’s professionals compete in an ever-evolving luxury digital landscape.
Then, you asked us for inspiration to live your best life. We listened. We introduced a Lifestyle section covering everything from Dining, to Scene, Style, Travel, and more.
We have learned so much along the way and we feel that now is the time to build upon the strong foundation and develop a new brand identity that looks to the future. This is just a start. The beginning of an inspiring and empowering conversation that I hope will spark positive changes.
We took our DNA and went through a process of distillation. Modern luxury lifestyle, to us, starts with authentic experiences that are thoughtfully designed and beautifully crafted. Beyond bling.
So naturally, we wanted to infuse the pages of the reimagined Luxe Digital with this sense of understated luxury.
A new logo that makes a subtle, but confident statement
Focusing on simplicity and clarity, our new logo adopts a minimalist, distinctively cleaner typeface. Straightforward, unpretentious, more readable, more adaptable, more inclusive, but also welcoming and accessible like our cutting-edge digital content and the values that we want Luxe Digital to represent.
A modern website that is both timely and timeless
We crafted our website as a clean space, divided into two main digital areas, a Business section and a Lifestyle section.
Our approach to luxury is about all the luxuries that make our lives richer —aesthetically, intellectually, and emotionally. It’s about how we spend our precious time and attention.
So we’re keeping things uncluttered, simple, and modern, leaving enough white space for you to pause and ponder.
The line elements throughout the website is a stylised representation of the ongoing motion because this what life and business are all about: moving forward.
And forward is exactly where we are heading. I hope that you love the new direction for Luxe Digital.
