If you haven’t heard of it already, Mejuri is an accessible fine jewelry brand that sits somewhere between the Ambani wedding jewelry and, like, no jewelry at all.
Born in Toronto, Mejuri mirrors its easy-going Canadian hometown, blending a relaxed vibe with the sparkle of its city lights.
Mejuri pieces have been spotted on both celebrity royalty and real royalty, with the likes of Bella Hadid, Taylor Swift, Meghan Markle, and the Princess of Wales favoring the brand.
And hey, it’s not like these A-listers share (even remotely) the same style—painting a perfect illustration of the brand’s versatility. Equally at home on the red carpet or simply glowing up casual off-duty looks, Mejuri has achieved celestial status re: wearability.
So naturally, I had to get my hands (and ears and necks) on some of the best-selling Mejuri pieces in 14k gold and see how golden this celebrity-favorite brand really is.
As I delved into the dazzling world of Mejuri, I found myself mesmerized (read: hypnotized) by all the sustainable sparkles and shines. It’s fair to say I wanted one of everything, but I eventually opted for the Diamond Half Tennis Necklace, the Plush Small Hoops, and the Dôme Figure Slim Ring for this Mejuri review. And I wore them everywhere I went—from training to traveling.
Spoiler: There is no skimping on quality (my golden rule).

Offering high-end quality for everyday wear and reasonable price tags, it’s a perfect happy-medium for budgets floating somewhere between Prada and Primark. Better still, Mejuri is red-hot on ethically sourcing all their precious metals and gemstones.
Mejuri jewelry review: A treasure trove of sustainable sparkles and shines
Unboxing: The packaging echoes the brand’s modern minimalism
I got to bask in that ‘treat yourself’ giddiness as soon as my package arrived. I carefully opened the cutest dust bag to reveal a beautiful white magnetic box that matches Mejuri pieces perfectly—understated yet elevated. Honestly, it looked like it’d been swiped from Elizabeth Taylor’s dresser.
There was also a little black pouch for my earrings, complete with a divider to prevent any pesky scratching when I’m not wearing them. Which is like, never. I’m obsessed.
Materials & craftsmanship: A heart of gold
For me, the choice was clear: 14k solid yellow gold—indisputably longer lasting—for every one of my chosen pieces.
However, Mejuri crafts fine jewelry in more accessible metals like sterling silver and gold vermeil, too. Don’t get confused between gold vermeil and gold plating, either. While similar, vermeil is a thicker, higher-quality plating that’s truly built to last (read: 18-karat gold layered on sterling silver.)
Whichever metal takes your fancy, you’ll hit the checkout knowing it’s been responsibly sourced—or even better: recycled. Oh, and if you need to brush up on your karats, check our gold karats guide here to gain Hatton Garden-level knowledge.
With so many brands being, um, less than crystal-clear with their gem sourcing, Mejuri shines bright with its ‘mine to market’ transparency. Meaning: ethically-sourced natural diamonds, AAA-grade gemstones, and freshwater pearls.
So you can shimmer in your jewels knowing you’re not contributing to the uglier side of the industry. Traceability is top priority, and I am here for it.
The brand exclusively works with suppliers who adhere to fair labor practices—in fact, 60% of their partners are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. And the rest? Family-run businesses who value social and environmental impact as much as Mejuri does.
Aesthetic & design: Wearable luxury
We’re all about minimalism and timeless style here at Luxe Digital. Mejuri fits the brief to a T, crafting clean, and modern pieces that’ll resist fleeting fads. Definitely champion of the ‘less is more’ approach, the beauty’s in the detail at Mejuri.
No doubt I could kit out an entire jewelry box with bits from Mejuri’s collections. From subtle chic studs to bold statement cuffs, there’s accessories for every style.
Depending on how I wear my jewels, I can propel them to center-stage or cast them as gorgeous backing dancers—they effortlessly take any role I require.
The jewelry equivalent of our white tee and tailored pants, Mejuri offers a range of pieces that come together to create the perfect capsule collection. Timeless, elegant, and versatile, my Mejuri jewelry pieces have become as essential as my phone and purse. Trust me: you won’t leave the house without it, either.
Durability and wear
Infusing a touch of luxe into the everyday, Mejuri pours liquid gold into a gap in the market that was crying out to be filled. Founded in 2015 by Noura Sakkijha, the raison d’être was to Golden-Gate-bridge the chasm between unattainably high-end jewelry and—well, the kind that leaves your fingers green.
At Mejuri, the concept of timeless exceeds mere fashion; these pieces are designed to last—even with daily wear. I’ve worn my 14k gold pieces almost every day and they still look fresh-out-the-box. Wear-and-tear is just not a thing with Mejuri gold, and I haven’t spied any signs of oxidation or tarnishing.
Every piece is resilient, and you can opt for a longer lifespan with the solid gold. And, while I can’t promise my tennis necklace will be unearthed in pristine-condition during a future archeology dig, I can attest that it’ll happily see me through the foreseeable.
What I wear on repeat: The Mejuri pieces that shine a bit brighter than the rest
Diamond Half Tennis Necklace
The Diamond Half Tennis Necklace is giving you déjà vu? That’s probably because like me you’ve spotted tennis necklaces on Zendaya. Or EmRata. Or Hailey Beiber.
A slim, understated take on the classic tennis necklace, I find Mejuri’s design to be more subtle-show than tawdry-tell. Featuring an elegant string of 36 small, round cut, natural diamonds, it glimmers beautifully on my neck without screaming ‘look at me!’.
The sustainable 14k gold gold chain is thinner than I anticipated but I love how effortlessly wearable and lightweight it is. I have worn it as the finishing touch to upscale events and to add a chic accent to my everyday looks—this tennis necklace’s nothing if not versatile. This strand of sparkles feels both refined and relaxed, making it a perfect match (pun intended) for minimalist jewelry lovers like me.
Just a heads up, though: this gold necklace is dainty and delicate. It requires some patience and precision if you need to attach it on your own. Also, you should lay it flat out when you’re not wearing it—unless hours spent detangling sounds great to you.
Plush Small Hoops
Celebrity-approved earrings with no need to jump through hoops? I’m all ears. A cut above my barely-there hoops, the Plush Small Hoops draw the eye ever so slightly more than thinner styles—without being showy. Solid without being cumbersome, and stylish without ostentation, these gold hoops pretty much have it all, injecting elegance to my everyday.
I love that they’re fully-enclosed, too. I can throw on my oversized scarf or fix my hair without risk of catching (ouch), so they’re safe to wear no matter what my daily schedule entails. Plus, the clip closure is super snug, so they’re not going anywhere without my say-so. All-in-all, these earrings are a total gold-standard—they’re classic, bold, and oozing sophistication. And most of all, they’re comfortable—they don’t weigh down my ears. Though chunky in style, the hallow interior makes them feel surprisingly lightweight.
If like me you love your hoop earrings like your morning smoothies (thick and ready to go), this is the all-occasion pair your will wear on repeat.
Dôme Figure Slim Ring
Another timeless beauty, I’m hopelessly devoted to my Dôme Figure Slim Ring. Statement yet soft at once, the fluid design melds seamlessly with literally any outfit I throw on.
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the ring is hollow, which is a little downside for me as I find some dirt and residue could accumulate in there. Also note that the brand stocks size 4 to 12, but currently doesn’t offer half sizes.
If you like a stacked look, load up your fingers with more Mejuri rings—the Dôme Figure Diamond Ring pairs like a charm.
Care & maintenance
When it comes to its sterling silver and gold vermeil pieces, Merjuri advises whipping off our jewelry before working out, showering, and washing your hands. I’ll throw surfing in with that list, too—salt water has an uncanny talent for corrosion.
For the 14-karat pieces like mine, Mejuri simply asks that we store them in dry, safe spaces when not in use. Despite their top-quality, they’re not invincible, so everyday irritants can eventually wear off that brilliant shine. It’s best to invest in a proper jewelry box, too—keeping jewelry separate is key to preventing marks and scratches.
Price: Alluringly accessible
When top-end designers like Cartier, Van Cleef or Tiffany & Co. don’t quite align with your current budget, and your are over the wear-it-once-and-it-is-green costume jewelry, Mejuri answers your prayers. Offering quality eons beyond your high street chain trend-driven pieces—and we’re not naming names—Mejuri offers us everyday elegance. And, it comes at pitch-perfect prices that won’t have the bailiffs calling.
On the more accessible side, you’ve got the Sterling Silver Huggie Hoops at just $38. On the top-tier, you can splash out up to $8,900 for a 14-karat gold lab-grown Diamond Tennis Necklace. So, you can snag up an impulse-buy relatively guilt-free, or you can carefully splurge on something extra special. However, most of the everyday pieces are comfortably nestled in the 3-digit territory.
Personally, I like to consider cost-per-wear. My math: if I wear that Diamond Tennis Necklace every day for the rest of my life, it’s actually a bargain. Kidding. But yes, if you plan on wearing your pieces every day (and believe me, you will), Mejuri equates to pretty excellent value.
You’ll also get free shipping on most orders, too. For the US and Canada, the minimum order is $75 to qualify, whereas for UK shoppers it’s free over £100. Shipping is generally fast, but bear in mind that it varies depending on your location. Don’t worry though, you’ll get an estimated timeline when you checkout.
For peace of mind, Mejuri offers a 2-year warranty. Not including loss and wear-and-tear, the brand will fix up any craftsmanship issues, no questions asked.
Who is it best for
If you are looking for modern, minimalist designs you’ll reach for everyday, at a fraction of the cost of legacy luxury brands, Mejuri is the perfect introduction to fine jewelry. It’s made well, with A+ materials.
Made by women for women, Mejuri bestows the opportunity to treat ourselves like queens. No official title—or king—necessary. And of course, the jewelry makes a stunning gift for when we’d like to shower our fellow goddesses in gold.
Final thoughts
Mejuri serves up a beautiful balance of timeless luxury and (relative) affordability. It’s become my go-to for elevating the everyday, and I know what to expect with every piece. That is: everyday elegance, conscious craftsmanship, and timeless styles.
Where to buy Mejuri jewelry?
Their website is where it’s at. It’s super easy to navigate and (IMO) far more relaxing than IRL shopping. Each piece is photographed from all angles, so you can get a solid gauge on the details. Browse their designs to your heart’s content and curate a brand-new jewelry collection that’s going to serve you (and your style) for years to come.
The alternatives
Gorjana
For a relaxed SoCal vibe, Gorjana is a brilliant alternative. Designing fine jewelry sold at reasonable prices, Gorjana makes that coveted Cali-girl style accessible to us all. It errs on the bohemian side, so expect birthstone gems and Mother Nature symbolism.
Missoma
A favorite of celebrities from Florence Pugh to Kim Kardashian, Missona is also worth a peek. Pearls, beads, and dainty diamonds dominate here, and you’ll find styles a-plenty to satiate your inner Magpie.
